Amid her; noise, horns, pedestrians swiftly breezing by, left her behind, with only her plans of the strategically organised day ahead. Prodding herself to carry on, if only to make it to her usual haunt, that she regarded an office. It was only three blocks walk, she grimaced at the notion of the stack of paperwork that would await her on the oversized, heavyset teak desk, next to the pile of memos that would this morning, be meticLush Enigmas - chapter 2


Lush EnigmasBeth woke with a start, her glossy black hair strung across her forehead and glued to her long, pale neck by beads of sweat. Almond eyes focusing as she attempted to bring herself out of this vicious, reoccurring nightmare. Time ceased for a moment, but only in her secret world, where only she knew the harsh realities and heartache of which her truth lied. Her legs tangled, like a fly caught in a spider web, unable to release them from the cream coloured restraint. Sweat dripped slowly down her décolletage, she swiped it away and unwound her body delicately from the sweat infused sheet, blinking back tears forming from under the windowsLush Enigmas

The etched in lineSea water laps so gently, eroding grey-white sand, my hand vacant and free, longing for a warmth you would once offer so freely unto me. Our time in place is now, the line is drawn, etched deeply into the sand, we stand on either side, choose my hand and Ill help you, come on over, where you really should be. Your hair stands dark, distinguished by green eyes, a sparkle burns deeply embodied within your layered frown. White clouds fly over us, leaving only glimpses of sapphire sky, you look up andThe etched in line
